One of Aucklands newest Marae situated in central Auckland in parklike surroundings with attractive trees. Our Marae can cater for up to 300 people for conferences, private functions, community events and trade shows. Our sleeping quarters can cater for up to 150 people. Full catering provided including plenty of parking. A great environment for smaller business seminars. We are based next door to the Zoo and MOTAT.This smart, modern Marae Conference Centre is the culmination of a long held dream to create a meeting place for members of Te Māhurehure Cultural Marae Society Inc.It all began with the purchase of land back in January 1969. A bargain by today’s standards but back then it was a significant financial commitment for the members, one which took years of fundraising to pay off.Te Māhurehure Marae is a multi-purpose venue offering modern facilities, including a fully equipped commercial kitchen. We’re conveniently located in Pt Chevalier, only 10 minutes drive from Eden Park and the CBD.
