Te Pane o Mataoho / Te Ara Pueru Whānau Ātea Recreation Aotearoa Award Celebration

We are humbled to share that the Tūpuna Maunga Authority together with Boffa Miskell have been awarded the Recreation Aotearoa Whāiao Māori – Māori Outcomes Award 2024 for the Whānau Ātea at Te Pane o Mataoho / Te Ara Pueru / Māngere Mountain.
This is a national award that recognises a programme or organisation making significant effort to support and engage with tāngata Māori within outdoor recreation in Aotearoa.
Please join us to celebrate
Our bookable hāngī experience is also ready for community bookings and we want to give you the first look into how to book, what’s involved, and different offers.
During the celebration you will be treated to a guided hīkoi led by Māngere Education Centre. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. This will be followed by a delicious hāngī curated by the Hāngi Master and the TMA team.
When: Thursday 11 April 2024, 2 pm – 4 pm
Where: Whānau Ātea @ Te Pane o Mataoho / Te Ara Pueru / Māngere Mountain (if raining the celebration will be held in the Māngere War Memorial Hall)
